Hello! My name is Ashley Kulp and I'd like to share my story
with you in hopes that we can develop a business opportunity, while bringing
awareness to the deadly cancer I am fighting. I have been featured in articles,
videos, and other websites. To allow you to understand who I am and my story, I
am sharing a few videos and links below. I am also attaching a few recent and
non-recent pictures of my family and me.
In 2014, I was given less than a 20% chance of surviving
past 2 years. The type of cancer I was diagnosed with, known as Small Cell
Neuroendocrine Carcinoma of the Cervix, is one so rare that only about 100
women a year get. Even worse, I was 28 weeks pregnant and this cancer has no
link to HPV (like most cervical cancers), so treatment options were very limited.
Me and my son’s fate was being challenged more than ever, but I was determined
to not let the statistics define my fate. I wanted my son to be born healthy
and not have to grow up without his mother!
Like most would do after a cancer diagnosis, I started
Googling for anything and everything that could help me in my fight. There I
found a small group of women who had created a page on Facebook for women with
this cancer. The sisterhood among this group was such a strong and loving support
system, that words couldn’t begin to describe. We even have an annual Vegas
Meet up! You can find videos and stories of our sisterhood, here.
But seeing over 100 women die within the 3 years I’ve been
in the group, was a sobering reminder that something had to change! This inspired
me to search even further.
After hours of researching how I could change my lifestyle
to help fight my cancer; I found a Phase II Clinical Trial being held at
Massachusetts General Hospital. Along with the new trial drug, I began eating
healthier, exercising, and even incorporated medical cannabis into my
lifestyle. Because of my new healthier lifestyle, I have lost over 75lbs and
all my cholesterol markers are normal again! Most importantly, my cancer has
shrunk by over 40%! I consider myself a
pioneer in science and believe that the combination of modern medicine, eating
healthier, and staying positive has played a huge part in the success I have
had on fighting this cancer so well.
Since adopting this new lifestyle, I started my own personal
gardening and this then led me to research organic and non-gmo growing. I was
determined to purchase seeds I could trust, so I compiled a list of private
farmers from all over the United States that I knew had safe farming practices
in place.
Between raising my premature son and tirelessly enduring the
harsh treatments of chemotherapy and radiation, I was still determined to find
a way to leave my stamp on this world.
With hard work and prayer, I decided to start my own online
Organic and NON-GMO seed business. It
has soared to heights I never knew imaginable!
Being my own-self advocate has gotten me as far as I have
come! I am LIVING HAPPILY with Stage
4 Cancer and I plan on making 2017 one of my best years yet!
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hopefully
help me share it to inspire and guide others. You may reach me directly on my
cell phone 717-439-9288.
